A museum souvenir can be more than proof that someone visited a building. Korea’s National Museum Foundation is treating it as a way to carry a local story into daily life.

What was released?

On September 1, the foundation announced 100 products inspired by representative cultural heritage from 13 regional national museums. The release is divided into 26 everyday-use items and 74 craft items.

Why the regional focus matters

International attention often settles on Seoul, but Korea’s national collections extend far beyond the capital. A collection built around regional museums gives people another route into Korean history: through the objects, materials and stories associated with different parts of the country.

Where can the collection be found?

The foundation says the collection is available through its online museum shop and at the National Museum of Korea as well as selected regional museum shops. Individual products and schedules may vary by location.

We have not yet confirmed international checkout or overseas delivery for every item. That distinction matters: “available online in Korea” does not automatically mean “available worldwide.”
