ToYouPick is a reading site about Korea — no account needed. This page explains the limited information we receive when you read, comment or email us, and how advertising and analytics work on the site.

What we collect
Emails: if you email us, we receive your address and your message and use them only to reply. We don’t sell them or add you to a mailing list.
Comments: when you post a comment, we may store the display name, comment text, selected language, posting time and IP address. The IP address is used to prevent abuse and is never shown publicly. Comments flagged as possible spam or unsafe content may be held for review.
Likes: a random identifier stored in your browser helps prevent repeated likes. It isn’t used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
No sales or payments: ToYouPick doesn’t sell products or take payments, so we never ask for card details or ID documents. Please don’t send them by email.
Cookies, advertising and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage for things like your language choice. ToYouPick may show ads through Google AdSense. When ads are shown, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners show ads based on those visits. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info. Embedded content such as YouTube videos may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how readers find ToYouPick and which pages are useful. It may collect technical information such as browser or device type, approximate region, pages viewed and referral source. We use this to improve the site, not to build or sell personal profiles. Keeping and deleting information
We keep emails only as long as needed to reply. Public comments stay until they are removed; held comments may be reviewed or deleted. To ask us to delete an email or a comment, write to toyoupick@gmail.com.
Children
ToYouPick is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
