BIGHIT MUSIC, the label behind BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and CORTIS, has opened its 2026 global audition.
This time, the basic rule is clear: male applicants born in 2008 or later can apply regardless of nationality or where they live. You do not need to live in Korea, and you do not need to fly to Seoul just to enter—the online audition is open until December 5, 2026.
So, what exactly is BIGHIT MUSIC?
BIGHIT MUSIC is a label under HYBE MUSIC GROUP and is home to BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and CORTIS. The 2026 BIGHIT MUSIC GLOBAL AUDITION is an official audition run by the label itself.
For anyone seeing the name for the first time, that distinction matters. This is not an unofficial casting notice using a famous company name—it is BIGHIT MUSIC’s own global recruitment.
There is no nationality or residency restriction, but this particular audition is open only to male applicants born in 2008 or later. Female applicants are not eligible for this round.
The official notice does not list a youngest eligible birth year. It simply states “born in 2008 or later.”
You can apply without going to Korea
There are two ways to take part: online or in person.
Online applications are open from September 14 through December 5. This means you can still apply even if BIGHIT MUSIC is not holding an in-person audition anywhere near your country.
The offline audition runs from October 3 through December 5 across 15 cities: Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Singapore, Jakarta, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Bangkok, Osaka, Tokyo, Taipei and Seoul.
No advance registration is required for the offline auditions.
If you are in Japan, for example, you have both Tokyo and Osaka. Thailand has Bangkok, Indonesia has Jakarta, and Taiwan has Taipei. If you are in Brazil, Spain or another country without a stop on this tour, the online audition is still available.

Is this only for singers and dancers?
Not necessarily.
BIGHIT MUSIC says there is no restriction on audition category. Applicants can choose the area that best shows their individuality and potential.
In previous HYBE-label auditions, categories have included not only vocals, dance and rap, but also songwriting, composing, acting, instruments and video.
So rather than trying to fit yourself into one familiar audition category, it may be worth thinking about the talent that represents you best.
