Foreigners can attend some K-pop music shows in Korea. The route depends on your goal: seeing a particular artistās pre-recording is different from joining an Inkigayo studio audience. Start with your artistās official notice for a specific performance, or the broadcasterās audience application for the show experience.

Fan-club membership doesnāt get you into every show, and a general audience application doesnāt require the album checklist from another artistās pre-recording. Follow the rules of the allocation youāre applying for.

A name on the lineup doesnāt guarantee that artist performs live in front of the broadcast audience; the Inkigayo tour listing openly allows pre-recorded performances. If your trip revolves around one group, check which session youāll actually attend.
Inkigayo: from the SBS app to admission
- 1. Account. Open the official SBS audience guide. Its route for foreigners needs an account with your birth date registered.
- 2. Apply. Pick a viewing date and apply. Inkigayo doesnāt admit under-15s, and one winning ticket admits one person.
- 3. Check the result. Look in ė°©ģ²ģ ģ²ė“ģ (application history), then ģ ģ„ź¶ ė³“źø° (view ticket) if youāre selected, even if no notification arrives.
- 4. On the day. Bring your ID and mobile ticket. Donāt tap the red ģ ģ„ķźø° (enter) button yourself: staff activate it after checking your ID, and tapping it early can invalidate the ticket.

Music Bank: check the KBS date list first
Open the KBS audience page and its ė°©ģ²ģ ģ² ź°ģ“ė (application guide). Check for an available session, then log in or register and read its conditions. ģ ģ² ź°ė„ķ ė°©ģ²ģ“ ģģµėė¤ means no session is open on that screen right now: it doesnāt mean foreigners are excluded. An artistās āMusic Bank participationā notice is a separate fan allocation, with its own deadlines and results, not the KBS general audience application.
How to read your artistās fan notice
- 1. Find the latest notice for a pre-recording or public broadcast in the artistās official community (on Weverse, the Notice tab).
- 2. Check the date, session type and eligibility before you try the form.
- 3. Apply through the noticeās link only once you meet every requirement. Match your ID name exactly and convert KST to your time zone.
- 4. After applying, check your result, entry number and any follow-up documents. Save your numbered check-in slot and watch for location updates.

Age rules depend on the route, too. ENHYPENās August 21, 2026 Weverse notice set 15+ for Korea and the US and 16+ elsewhere, so SBSās general 15+ rule doesnāt cover every fan application.

The same notice required original ID and printed Melon documents. Accepting a passport didnāt remove those other requirements.
LE SSERAFIMās April 24, 2026 session started roll call at 04:10 and waived download proof because the music wasnāt out yet; its May 29 notice required Melon proof. Even the same artist can change the checklist between sessions.
Paid tours: what to check before paying
Trazy sells an Inkigayo and Seoul tour package for non-Korean visitors: worth comparing if you canāt meet fan-membership or music-proof conditions. Itās a tour product, separate from the broadcasterās general audience application. Check the Trazy package terms ā
- Eligibility: nationality, age and every participantās passport name.
- Inclusions: show, tour, transport and viewing area, and whether any artist pre-recording is included.
- Price: choose your date, option and currency, then check the final total.
- Cancellation: your own cancellation vs a cancelled broadcast vs a changed lineup.
This listing states no refund if you cancel and a full refund if the show is cancelled. A missing passport or mismatched name can mean being turned away without a refund. If one artist is essential, donāt book before you know what the package actually lets you see.
Your event-day checklist
- Original ID and every required printout, membership proof and light stick.
- Your numbered check-in time and place, not just the recording time.
- A charged phone, data and access to your ticket or result page.
- Transport for a dawn check-in: is the first subway early enough?
- Photo, leaving and re-entry rules, and enough buffer before your next plan.
SBS bans photos and videos and restricts entry with a camera. Fan notices may add bans on audio recording or cheering items; concert rules donāt replace the recording notice.
