1. Find the seller in the artistâs official notice
Korean concert tickets are not sold on one universal website. Depending on the event, the official seller may be NOL World, YES24 Ticket Global, Melon Ticket Global, or Ticketlink Global. The safest route is the link posted on the artistâs official Weverse, fan community, X, or Instagram account.
Do not start with a search ad or resale page. Cross-check the event title, venue, sale time, and fan-club verification window. Sale times are usually listed in Korea Standard Time, so convert KST before the day of sale.
2. Enter your name exactly as printed on your passport
For selected events, global sites require identity verification using a foreign passport and facial recognition. Use the spelling, middle name, spacing, and order shown on your passport. A nickname or shortened name can cause problems at pickup.
YES24 labels some events âVerified Member Onlyâ and explains passport-and-face verification in its Global FAQ. NOL World may also require identity verification before booking certain tickets. Complete this process after creating your account, not minutes before sales open.
3. Fan-club presales may require two separate actions
Buying a Weverse membership does not automatically register you for every presale. Many events require you to apply for the presale on Weverse and then verify your membership on the designated ticket site during a separate period. Missing either window can leave you with general sale only.
Check that the English name on Weverse, your membership, the ticket account, and your passport all match. Rules vary by event, so never assume that the process used for a previous tour is still valid.
4. Prepare payment before ticketing day
Check the event page for its accepted international cards and authentication method. Visa, Mastercard and 3-D Secure support can vary by seller and event. Confirm that overseas online purchases are enabled in your card issuerâs app before sales open.
Log in early and allow pop-ups. Opening excessive devices or browser windows may trigger anti-abuse controls. Seat and payment timers can be short, so keep your card and passport details nearby.
5. Bring the physical passport to the venue
Many concerts verify that the booker and attendee are the same person. Foreign attendees are commonly asked for a valid physical passport; screenshots and photocopies may not be accepted. A mismatch between the booking name and passport can lead to denied pickup or entry.
Proxy booking, account transfers, and unofficial resale tickets carry real risk. Save the eventâs pickup notice and cancellation policy before paying, because transfer and identity rules differ by show.
