On October 1, 2026, Korea launched the K-Tour Pass: a ₩15,000 pass for foreign visitors that combines a discount on getting to Busan with one free attraction there. Busan already had the Visit Busan Pass, starting at ₩45,000. They aren’t really rivals — they solve different problems.
Coming to Busan from Seoul or the airport and visiting one or two big attractions? Get the K-Tour Pass. Staying in Busan for a few days and visiting three or more paid attractions? The Visit Busan Pass usually works out better.
The two passes side by side
| K-Tour Pass | Visit Busan Pass BIG3 | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | ₩15,000 | ₩45,000 |
| Attractions | 1 free, from about 35 | 3 free (1 from Group A + 2 from Group B) |
| Travel to Busan | Up to 40% off, capped at ₩24,000 — or ₩24,000 off a KORAIL Pass | Not included |
| Extras | AREX express 50% off, WOWPASS card, ~50 partner discounts | Partner discounts |
| Who can buy | Foreign visitors | Foreign visitors |
| Valid until | Dec 31, 2026 (pilot) | 180 days from first use |
Group A covers big-ticket places such as Lotte World Adventure Busan and Skyline Luge; Group B includes spots like Songdo Marine Cable Car and Busan Tower.
K-Tour Pass: the value is in the train ticket
It comes in two versions, both ₩15,000:
| Version | What you get |
|---|---|
| Pass 1 | Up to 40% off one one-way intercity rail or bus fare to Busan, capped at ₩24,000 |
| Pass 2 | ₩24,000 off a 2–5-day KORAIL Pass |
Here’s why it pays off: a standard KTX ticket from Seoul to Busan costs about ₩60,000. Forty percent of that is roughly ₩24,000 — already more than the pass price, before you even use the free attraction. Add 50% off the AREX express train from Incheon Airport and the free entry, and the savings stack up fast.
The free attraction list includes Lotte World Adventure Busan, Songdo Marine Cable Car, Skyline Luge Busan, BUSAN X the SKY, SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium, Arte Museum Busan and Busan Tower. Pick the most expensive place you actually want to visit.

Flying straight into Busan?
If you land at Gimhae Airport and never take a train to Busan, the transport discount does nothing for you. The pass can still pay off on the free attraction alone — Lotte World Adventure Busan, for example, costs far more than ₩15,000 — but for several attractions, the Visit Busan Pass is the stronger choice.
Visit Busan Pass: built for staying in the city
| Type | Price | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| BIG3 | ₩45,000 | 3 attractions (1 A + 2 B), 180 days from first use |
| BIG5 | ₩65,000 | 5 attractions (2 A + 3 B), 180 days |
| 24-hour | ₩55,000 | Unlimited partner attractions for 24 hours, each once |
| 48-hour | ₩85,000 | Same, for 48 hours |
The BIG passes suit a relaxed pace; the timed passes reward people who can fit many attractions into one or two days. Use your Group A slot on the most expensive attraction — that decides whether the pass pays off.

Buying and using them
- Where to buy: K-Tour Pass on Klook or Hop&Hop (Webtour); Visit Busan Pass on its official site.
- Pick up the card: the K-Tour Pass physical card is available at Incheon, Gimpo and Gimhae airports, Seoul Station and Busan Station.
- Show a live code: both passes need the live QR or barcode in the app or mobile web — screenshots and printouts aren’t accepted.
- WOWPASS: the K-Tour Pass card works as a transit card and prepaid payment card once you top it up.
- Mobile Visit Busan Pass: it has no transit-card function, so you’ll still need a T-money or similar card — see our guide to paying in Korea.

The K-Tour Pass is a pilot: its travel coupons and mobile tickets are valid until December 31, 2026. Prices and partner lists can change — check the sales page before you buy. Information checked October 1, 2026.
