Planning a self-guided K-drama tour in Seoul? Start with three places you can connect in one afternoon: Deoksugung’s stone-wall road from Goblin, Hyemindang from Hotel del Luna, and N Seoul Tower from My Love from the Star.
City Hall → Deoksugung stone-wall road → Hyemindang → Chungmuro Station and a Namsan shuttle bus → N Seoul Tower. Enjoy the street and café first, then aim for sunset at the tower. Short on time? Pick the stop from your favorite drama.

1. Goblin: Deoksugung stone-wall road
Visit Seoul identifies Deoksugung Doldam-gil as a Goblin filming location. Start at City Hall Station and head toward Deoksugung-gil, outside the palace. You can enjoy the stone wall and trees without buying palace admission.
Map search: 덕수궁 돌담길. Gamgodang-gil, another location from the same drama, is near Anguk Station, a different part of Seoul, so don’t mix the two up. This walk identifies the filming street, not an exact camera position from a specific episode. Find on NAVER Map ↗
The Seoul Museum of Art in the cover photo is a nearby optional stop. Its Monday closure matters only if you want to go inside; a street-only walk works any day.
2. Hotel del Luna: Hyemindang in Euljiro
Search for Hyemindang (혜민당), not just “Euljiro cafés.” Visit Seoul identifies it as the place where Man-wol (IU) and Chan-sung (Yeo Jin-goo) ate red bean porridge together. You’re visiting a real business used for that scene, not touring the drama’s hotel set. Coffee Hanyakbang is a separate café opposite: use Hyemindang’s address for the filming stop.

This is a working business: order if you want to sit inside or take photos. Check current hours and the menu before visiting: the menu may have changed since filming.
3. My Love from the Star: N Seoul Tower
Visit Seoul’s Hallyu guide links Cheon Song-yi and Do Min-joon with the tower’s love-lock area. Start with the outdoor plaza and the locks. Original props or locks from the drama may no longer be there.
By bus: take Line 3 one stop from Euljiro 3-ga to Chungmuro. From the Namsan shuttle stop near Exit 2, board bus 01A or 01B toward N Seoul Tower, checking the destination before you get on. The outdoor plaza is free; the indoor observatory and the cable car cost extra. If you take the bus, you don’t need a cable-car ticket. Budget separately for getting up the hill and for entering the observatory.
How to plan the half-day
For these three stops, plan an afternoon that ends in the evening. These are suggested times at each stop, not measured journey times: add transport and queues separately.

For sunset, work backward from that day’s sunset time to decide when to leave the café, and allow for waiting at the bus stop on top of your map app’s estimate.
Do you need an observatory ticket?
If your goal is the filming location and the love locks, the outdoor area is enough. The indoor observatory is an extra for a higher city view.

For the Namsan part alone: two shuttle rides and the outdoor visit come to ₩3,000; add one adult observatory ticket and it’s ₩32,000. Subway fares and your café order are extra. You don’t need to buy a new lock to look around.
Prefer the cable car?
Follow the tower’s official directions: Myeongdong Station, Exit 3 → the road to the right of the Pacific Hotel → the cable-car station, about a 10–15-minute walk. It isn’t right outside the subway exit. The cable car only gets you up the hill; observatory admission is separate.

Short on time, or visiting in the rain?
- Short visit: do the wall and the café, and save Namsan for another day.
- Night views first: leave the café in time to reach the hill around sunset.
- Heavy rain: focus on the café or the museum to cut down on outdoor walking.
