Netflix adds Han So-hee and more to the live-action Solo Leveling cast
Netflix has revealed more of the cast for its live-action Solo Leveling series. After confirming Byeon Woo-seok as Sung Jin-woo, the streamer announced Han So-hee as Cha Hae-in, Kang You-seok as Yoo Jinho and Sung Joon as Woo Jinchul. Lee Sung-min and Jung Ji-hoon — better known to many K-pop fans as Rain — make special appearances as Go Gunhee and Baek Yoonho.
For international fans, the bigger story is not what Solo Leveling is, but how a Korean web novel that already became a global webtoon, anime and game is being translated into live action. Cha Hae-in is one of the franchise’s best-known S-rank Hunters, so Han So-hee’s casting is likely to be one of the first major points of comparison with the original. Netflix says the series is “coming soon,” but has not announced a release date yet.

ONEW × ZICO release “Tic Tac Toe” today at 6 PM KST
SHINee’s ONEW and ZICO release their first collaboration, “Tic Tac Toe,” today, October 7 at 6 PM KST. The R&B hip-hop track uses a game of tic-tac-toe as a metaphor for the push and pull of an undefined romantic connection — the kind of in-between stage Koreans often call sseom.
ONEW’s vocals and ZICO’s rap take different sides of that relationship, over an 808-led rhythm and trap production. Both artists took part in writing and composing the track. “Tic Tac Toe” is the second pre-release title track from ONEW’s first single album 착각 (Chakgak), following “Mind Games” with YUJU. The full three-track single arrives on October 20 at 6 PM KST.

Why are people lining up for Korean museum merch?
In Korea, museum souvenirs are no longer just something you pick up on the way out. Popular items from MU:DS, the merchandise brand run by the National Museum Foundation of Korea, have become sell-out products that can draw “open-run” lines — Korea’s common term for lining up before a shop opens to get limited or highly sought-after items.
The latest example is 2026 BTS DALMAJUNG × MU:DS, a 13-item collaboration that reinterprets traditional Korean munjado — decorative paintings built around written characters — through Hangul graphics and BTS imagery. The line includes items such as a ceramic jar, fortune magnet, gonggi set, mini broom, bracelet and necklace.
For fans outside Korea, this one is not only a Seoul story. The collection is also sold through Weverse Shop Global, where most items list global shipping, although stock is limited and some products may sell out early. In Seoul, the HYBE Yongsan pop-up runs through October 11, while the National Museum of Korea’s Museum Shop 2 is selling the collection through the end of November, subject to stock.
